- Can I make arrangements to see a storage unit before making a commitment?
- Yes! Call us at 613.739.7696 or send an e-mail to info@ministorageottawa.com and we will get back to you within 1 business day to you to schedule a showing.
- Do you require a deposit to rent a mini storage unit?
- Yes, a security deposit payable by cash or credit card is required to rent a unit. We refund the deposit when you move out and turn in your pass card.
- What forms of payment do you accept?
- We accept payment through Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners, Post-dated cheques, Cash and Interac. We also offer direct withdrawal services from most Canadian Financial Institutions.
- When is payment required?
- Rental payment and security deposit are required on the move in date for the first month. Payment each month is made on the monthly anniversary date of your move in.
- How often do I pay?
- Payment via your credit card or by post dated cheque is due monthly and charged on the same date of your move-in. For example, if your move-in date was January 15th, your next month’s rental payment would be charged on February 15th and the 15th of every subsequent month of your rental.
- What type of notice is required to terminate my self storage rental agreement?
- We require one month’s notice prior to the date when your monthly rental fees are due in order to terminate your rental agreement. We need to receive your notice to terminate in writing.
- What is the minimum rental term for a unit?
- One month is the minimum rental period.
- Will you hold a unit?
- Depending upon availability Mini Storage Ottawa will happily hold a unit for up to 2 days.
